IIG EMPOWERS FUTURE OF JEWELLERY DESIGN IN RAJKOT IN COLLABORATION WITH INJEWEL

The International Institute of Gemology (IIG) proudly announces the success of its transformative internship program, aimed at nurturing emerging talent in the jewellery design sphere. In collaboration with the Indotech Jewellery Manufacturing Federation (INJEWEL) and esteemed jewellers in Rajkot, IIG orchestrated a dynamic initiative that not only honed skills but also illuminated the path forward for the industry
Seven best IIG Jewellery Design interns participated in this intensive program, immersing themselves in a week-long journey of creativity and innovation. Guided by seasoned professionals, they explored the intricacies of jewellery craftsmanship and design, gaining invaluable insights and experience.
The highlight of the program was the culmination event, where interns showcased their exceptional designs and projects. This showcase not only celebrated their achievements but also underscored IIG’s commitment to fostering talent and pushing the boundaries of creativity within the industry.
The intern program concluded at the weekend, on 1st June, with a mentoring session by Mr. Manish Bhindi at his esteemed and designer showroom. His inspiring and motivating session left a lasting impression on the students. The evening continued with a delightful dinner, where Mr. Bhindi graciously hosted the students, culminating in a felicitation certificate ceremony, recognizing the interns’ dedication and achievements.
In parallel, IIG was honoured to participate in the “Jewellery Merchandising & Sales” seminar organized by the InJewel Federation on 28th May. Our CEO & MD, Mr. Rahul Desai, and COO and HOD of Design, Ms. Gunjan Sapra, shared their expertise, shedding light on industry trends and innovations.

Additionally, the deployment of seven skilled jewellery designers, trained by IIG, for a week-long quality assessment was a remarkable initiative.
